The Loch
The Loch

The Loch is an alpine lake in Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado. It sits at just over 10,000 feet above sea level, and is fed by nearby glaciers. The hike to reach it is breathtaking (literally), and then you are hit with a view so grand in scale, it is hard to comprehend.

Look for Rainbows
Look for Rainbows

On a strenuous hike up to Bear Peak in Boulder, CO it began raining on me, and thunder clouds were rolling in. Out of breath and with a strong headache I was considering turning back to cut my losses. I instead pushed on to the peak and was blessed with this amazing rainbow stretching out over South Boulder.

One of many reminders.

When life is hard, be it rain or pain.

Look for Rainbows.

Gold or Green?

During the winter months, low clouds roll over the Boulder, Colorado valley, and brush the heights of the Green Mountain Summit. The setting sun wreathes them in gold.
